Ripples in the fabric of belonging
I use painting as a poetic device for constructing space. Through painting, I create places: imagined, liminal, in-between, places of comfort and discomfort. I investigate my feelings of belonging and otherness in the world, exploring my transnational upbringing. My work is a space to align memories, experiences as a means of both invention and preservation.
